Your health and safety is ALWAYS top of mind at RydeFYR. So in addition to our usual exceptionally vigilant cleaning protocols, we have implemented some additional important new standards designed to keep you, our instructors, and our staff safe. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update our procedures on this page as we move forward.



we are the ONLY HEATED indoor cycling studio in the South Bay. AND Most germs don’t thrive well in the heat. In addition, We have ALWAYS HAD OUR unique state-of-the art HVAC, typically only found in high-end luxury hot yoga studios, that has UV filtration which kills 99.9% of germs and airborne microorganisms including the cold and flu. We use high efficiency air filters and regularly inspect and maintain our HVAC to ensure peak performance. THIS IS ALL PURPOSEFULLY  designed to help you feel the heat while breathing fresh air During your Ryde.


We are re-opening with a limited schedule with increased time between classes for stringent cleaning of the entire studio with EPA approved disinfectants before and after each class. This includes all high touch surfaces, common areas, bikes, weights, rental shoes, towels, yoga mats (FYR+SCLPT), lockers, bathrooms, and floors. Even items not in use, will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

We have always had, and continue to offer a touchless check-in process.  

Sanitizing Wipes & Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk and Sanitizing wipes are available in the FYR PIT.


According to new government regulations, cloth face coverings and gloves are to be worn at all times. Please only exercise to the extent you can breathe comfortably while wearing a face covering over both your nose and mouth at all times. (Face masks or coverings with one-way valves are not permitted according to July 2020 state regulations .)  Please bring your owN face covering, as the studio will not be providing facial coverings &/or gloves for our Guests. Our staff is required to wear gloves and face coverings. This includes while cleaning and disinfecting common areas and studio equipmenT. Staff must also regularly wash-their hands, including washing their hands and refreshing gloves after every studio/Equipment cleaning.


To limit person-to-Person Contact, please set up your own bike prior to class.  if you are new anD Need a demonstration on how to set up your bike, We encourage you to have a facial covering on, or Ask for Assistance from a safe social distance. THe instructor may be able provide a demonstration On the podium bike (Please Refrain from getting on the podum Or Touching the Podum Bike) or You may head to the front Lobby for a staff demonstration on how to set up your bike. Please be patient and be mindful of social distancing as we might also be checking in other guests. 


we Disinfect our shoe rentals before and after EVERY Class. Shoe Rentals ARE Rotated so they are never used Back-to Back/2 classes in a row.

Don't be Tardy for the party

Please be on time. our 10-minute grace period has been temporarily suspended. At this time, For Everyone’s Safety, we will not be able to let riders into class once it has started.


While we do accept cash and most major credit cards, we highly recommend and prefer that you pay for classes and merchandise by saving a credit card in your online profile which is Completely Touchless & powered and secured by MindBody Online


Please refrain from touching the retail merchandise. If you’d like to make a purchase, please let the front desk staff know and they will assist you. At this time, we cannot allow you to try on the merchandise prior to purchasing at the studio, however, should you make a purchase,  we stand behind our return/exchange policy which gives you 14 days from purchase on new/un-worn items. Items that have been Exchanged/returned will not be placed back on the floor or sold until deemed safe by apparel industry standards.


Prior to the onset of the pandemic, we already prided ourselves on being a “truly boutique,”  small business. We only had a small number of bikes to begin with –approximately 1/2 of what you would find at the larger corporate cycling studios and big-box gyms in the area. Moving forward, we have reduced class capacity and the number of bikes even further to ensure adequate social distancing for every rider. Weather permitting, we ask that you remain outside prior to class instead of congregating in the lobby or locker area. Our staff will work with you to help get you in and out of the studio while ensuring proper social distancing. The studio opens 30 minutes before class for in-person touchless check-in. We will invite a limited number of riders to enter the studio at a time and we ask that you find your way into the FYR Pit and onto your bike as quickly as possible to allow other riders to be able to enter the building. Floor markers will help give visual cues to aid in this process in the lobby and locker area..

Instructor & Staff Health Screening

Our instructors and Staff will undergo temperature checks prior to their shift.


All Lockers are cleaned and Disinfected Before and after class. Upon your arrival please use only Lockers which are Marked available for use. These lockers will be marked specifically for your class time. After you class those Used lockers will be disinfected and will not be used in the Following class. In other words Lockers will never be used 2 classes in a row. 
If after class, you have forgotten your locker combination, please be patient and wait at a safe social distance until a staff member can assist you.


While we do have a water fountain available for use, we highly encourage you to bring your own water or purchase Smart Water from the studio.


Towels will no longer be placed on your bike prior to class. we encourage and empower you to bring your own hand towel for use during class. Should you wish to use our CLean sanitized Towel amenities They are  Available FOR Your Use, upon request at the front desk.  Please ensure you PlaCE your used towel(s) in the bin marked towels after class so they can be properly cleaned and disinfected.

Free Weights

Sanitized free weights are available for use during classes.  If you Prefer not to use weights, or would like to bring your own free weights, you are welcome to do so


Our Shower/changing rooms are temporarily closed.

PErsonal Amenities

We have temporarily removed most of our high touch personal amenities like gum & hair pins. We have hair Elastics, and our Usual individually wrapped  Ear Plugs available upon request at the front desk.

Podium Policy

instead of moving about the room during portions of class, we have temporarily asked our instructors to remain at a safe social distance, and coach from the podium as much as possible. while our inStructors and staff are all highly trained to assist you, for your safety and theirs, there will be no physical adjustments to your person or to your bike during class, we ask that you remain clipped in, and refrain from flagging down the instructor during group sessions unless there is an emergency.

If you Feel un-well, Have a cough, fever, or symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home

We are happy to reinstate your class in your account if you need to stay home because you are not feeling well. We also ask that you do not come to the studio until you are symptom free and fever free for at least 3 days.

If you Have knowingly come in contact with someone with Covid-19 or if you have tested positive

We ask that you refrain from coming to the studio for at least 14 days and/or until you have tested negative for COVID-19.

Limit or refrain from person to person contact

This includes Temporarily refraining from FYR FAM HUGS, High Fives, Fist & Wrist Bumps. 

Wash your hands

Please wash your hands and/or use hand-sanitizer Prior to entering the FYR Pit. Refrain from touching your Eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Reserve your bike online or on the app

 We ask that you reserve your bike online at oR by downloading the RydeFYR App by clicking here  Reservations can be made online up to 1 hour before class.  If you would like to reserve via phone, please call the studio starting 30 minutes before class. While we do still accept walk ins for available bikes, we strongly suggest making reservations in advance.

Please cancel your bike So Your Fellow FYR Family member can RYde

We understand that life happens, but given our extremely limited number of bikes we ask that you cancel your bike at least 4 hours prior to class.  If you do not cancel prior to that time frame you will be charged for the class, and/or it will be deducted from your account

Do I have TO wear a mask while working out?

According to new government regulations, cloth face coverings and gloves are to be worn at all times. (Face masks or coverings with one-way valves are not permitted according to July 2020 state regulations .)  PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FACE COVERING, AS THE STUDIO WILL NOT BE PROVIDING FACIAL COVERINGS &/OR GLOVES FOR OUR GUESTS. OUR STAFF IS REQUIRED TO WEAR GLOVES AND FACE COVERINGS. THIS INCLUDES WHILE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING COMMON AREAS AND STUDIO EQUIPMENT. STAFF MUST ALSO REGULARLY WASH-THEIR HANDS, INCLUDING WASHING THEIR HANDS AND REFRESHING GLOVES AFTER EVERY STUDIO/EQUIPMENT CLEANING.

Will you let me know if I've come in contact with someone who's tested positive for Covid 19?

Yes.  In the event of a reported case of COVID-19 in the studio, and you were potentially in contact with the individual, you will be notified immediately.  We will then take any and all necessary and proper steps to disinfect the studio Head to toe.
